Unlike traditional epoxy systems, StoneLuxe uses an industrial moisture-cure technology that offers superior UV resistance and is less prone to yellowing, peeling, or fading over time.
Is StoneLuxe DIY-friendly?
Yes, StoneLuxe is designed as a roll-on system for easier application compared to many multi-step industrial floor coating systems.
What surfaces can StoneLuxe be applied to?
StoneLuxe is ideal for properly prepared concrete surfaces including garage floors, workshops, patios, showrooms, and commercial spaces.
Application Questions
How do I prepare my concrete before applying StoneLuxe?
Proper surface preparation is critical. Concrete should be clean, dry, structurally sound, and free from grease, oils, sealers, or previous failing coatings.
Can StoneLuxe be applied over existing epoxy?
Only if the existing coating is fully adhered and properly prepared. Loose, peeling, or failing coatings myst be removed first.
Do I need to etch or grind the floor first?
Surface prep requirements depend on the condition of your concrete. Smooth or sealed concrete may require mechanical profiling for proper adhesion.
How many coats are recommended?
Application requirements vary by system, but most installations follow the recommended StoneLuxe multi-step application process.
How long does installation take?
Most projects can be completed in 2 days depending on size, prep work, and environmental conditions. Created as a one person operation.
Can I apply this product year-round?
It has to be a minimum of 55° Fahrenheit for the base to dry.
Temperatures higher than 80° Fahrenheit could decrease dry time.

Is StoneLuxe chemical resistant?
Yes. StoneLuxe is designed to resist many common automotive fluids, chemicals and household contaminants.
Will StoneLuxe yellow in the sun?
No - StoneLuxe is formulated for UV resistance, making it suitable for areas exposed to sunlight.
Is it slippery when wet?
Texture options are available to improve slip resistance.
Can hot tires damage StoneLuxe?
StoneLuxe is engineered or demanding environments, including garage floors subject to vehicle traffic.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Please inspect your shipment upon delivery and report any damages within 24 hours with photos so we can assist with a claim and replacement.
Do you offer custom colors?
StoneLuxe is available in select finishes and colors. Availability may vary.
Warranty / Support
Is StoneLuxe covered by a warranty?
StoneLuxe is warranted against manufacturing defects in the product itself. Because surface preparation, application conditions, and installation practices are outside our control, we cannot warranty the finished product.
How long do I have to use the product after purchase?
For best results, we recommend using StoneLuxe within 30 days of purchase.
Can I return unused product?
Unopened product may be eligible for return per our return policy. Custom or special-order items may be non-returnable.
